Republican Contest ''We are under the same sun''
RPO “Afif” and the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Tajikistan in September-October of this year held a national competition among journalists and bloggers for the best coverage of HIV / AIDS problems. The main goal of the contest was aimed at raising public awareness about HIV, creating a favorable social environment that excludes discrimination and stigmatization towards people affected by this disease. The competition was held in three categories: "Best Printed Publication", "Best TV Spot", and “Best Blog Content". 18 applications were selected for participation in the final stage of the contest. Financial support for this event was provided by the international organization Gilead science INC. Based on the results of the competition, a competent jury of specialists from the Republican AIDS Center, public organizations and representatives of the community of people living with HIV determined the winners, who were awarded with certificates of honor and cash prizes.
