Hi. Can I get HIV if dry blood on pants touches genitals? Will it have any microtrauma on genitals? Also, pants were in a drawer for two days, does HIV live for two days or does it die?
Hi. There is no risk of infection in the situation you’ve described, because HIV dies quickly and loses its infectivity in dried blood. It should be noted, that when wearing another person’s clothes or underwear, it is almost impossible to get infected with HIV due to various circumstances.
