and the Use of Lungs Ventilation Machine

IVM coursesFrom November 2 to November 23, 2020 under the technical support of the Republican Public Organization "Afif" in cooperation with the Main Directorate for the Execution of Criminal Sentences of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tajikistan and the State Educational Institution "Institute of Postgraduate Education in Healthcare of the Republic of Tajikistan", a two-week training course is conducted for 10 medical workers of the Penal System.

            The course participants will learn about the features of the treatment of patients with coronavirus infection and the use of lungs ventilation machine for various pathologies in the penitentiary system, as well as practice the acquired skills in the practical part of trainings at the Department of Anaesthesiology and Resuscitation of the Institute of Postgraduate Education in Healthcare of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The event is organized within the framework of the project "Strengthening the capacity of the medical service of penitentiary institutions to prevent, diagnose, treat coronavirus infection COVID-19 and ensure effective infection control in Head Department of Penal System under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tajikistan" funded by the Open Society Institute Assistance Foundation in Tajikistan.
