A round table was held in Dushanbe to discuss the results of the project "We are under the same sun"

On March 10, 2023, a working meeting was held in Dushanbe to discuss the results of the project “We are under the same sun”, funded by the American pharmaceutical company Gilead Sciences Inc.. The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Tajikistan, the National Coordinating Committee to fight HIV/AIDS, TB and Malaria in the Republic of Tajikistan, specialists from public and international organizations, as well as mass media workers.

During the meeting, the main results of the project activities and the results of the information campaign carried out within the framework of the above-mentioned project were considered, as well as a useful exchange of views on the implementation of the Guidelines for the provision of comprehensive medical care for people living with HIV in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, approved by the Ministry of Health of the country was held.

The implementation of the project "We are under the same sun" is carried out from April 11, 2022 to April 11, 2023 by the Republican public organization "Afif" in collaboration with the centers for the fight and prevention of AIDS, non-profit organizations and mass media workers. The goal of the project is to create a favorable environment for ensuring non-discriminatory universal access to HIV prevention, treatment, care and support.
