USAID Eliminating Tuberculosis in Central Asia ProjectConducts Training on “Client Management of TB and DR-TB patients”
On February 3, 2021, within the framework of the USAID Eliminating Tuberculosis in Central Asia Project, three-day training on the topic "Client management for tuberculosis and drug-resistant tuberculosis" started in Dushanbe.
The event is attended by outreach workers and coordinators involved in early detection, treatment adherence and client management of people with Tuberculosis and DR-TB in Khatlon and Sughd regions. The aim of the training is to educate the participants on the basic approaches of social support for tuberculosis and DR-TB.
The USAID Eliminating Tuberculosis in Central Asia Project is being implemented to reduce the burden of tuberculosis in Central Asia by strengthening local and regional capacities to better detect and treat TB and drug-resistant TB (DR-TB).
