RPO "Afif" - "The best defender of the rights of migrants"
The Republican public organization "Afif" became a laureate of the "Best defender of the rights of migrants" award in the nomination "Best initiative/project aimed at social and economic reintegration of returned labor migrants".
The competition was dedicated to International Migrant Day, which is celebrated annually around the world on December 18. The organizer of the event is the Public organization "Center for human rights". The competition was sponsored by the International migration initiative of the Open Society foundation of Great Britain.
The main idea of the competition was to note and recognize the efforts of people defending the rights of our fellow citizens in Tajikistan and abroad by any legal means.
RPO "Afif" submitted for the competition the project "Reducing the social, medical, legal and economic consequences in the lives of women who returned from labor migration or deported from the Russian Federation" which was implemented with the financial support of Open Socity Institute Assistance Foundation in Tajikistan, and was recognized for the contribution of the "Afif" team in the field of protecting the rights and health of women, who returned from labor migration.
