Issues of improving cooperation between TB centers, NGOs and PHC were discussed in Bokhtar city

On April 15, 2022, Afif Republican Public Organization and the Republican Center for the Protection of the Population from Tuberculosis held a working meeting of partner organizations in Bokhtarcity to provide medical and social services to key population groups (KPs) in Khatlon region. The meeting was attended by representatives of theRegional Health Department, TB centers and and primary health services facilities of pulit districts, as well as employees of public organizations and representatives of the KP. During the meeting, the participants discussed issues of strengthening cooperation on the timely detection of TB and drug-resistant TB cases among the project target group and reviewed the results of the project's activities to cover the target group with preventive measures.

The meeting was organized and held within the framework of the UNDP-Tajikistan project “Strengthening the supportive environment and expanding prevention and treatment measures to reduce the burden of HIV and tuberculosis in the Republic of Tajikistan”
