The idea of ​​creation of Afif Representative Office in Khatlon region was born in 2014. By that time, Organization already had rich experience in strengthening the capacity of partner organizations, training and raising awareness of target groups and beneficiaries of programs. But a new impetus was needed, the Organization strove to try its hand at providing direct services to key populations, to do what it had never done before, get out of the familiar template and move to a new level of its development.

The official opening of the Representative Office in Bokhtar took place in June 12, 2014. The establishment of the Representative Office in Bokhtar city gave to Organization the opportunity to share not only theoretical knowledge, but also to introduce best practices in the field of health protection, advocacy for rights and interests of KPG and provision of direct services to beneficiaries.
