Assistance to Committee of Emergency Situations and Civil Defense under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and Head Department of Penal System under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tajikistan on prevention of COVID-19 expansion

On May 8 and 11, 2020 American non-governmental organization «Spirit of America», in partnership with Republican Public Organization «Аfif», supported the Committee of Emergency Situations and Civil Defense under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and Head Department of Penal System under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tajikistan on prevention of COVID-19 expansion.

To following state institutions were provided:

- portable sprayer - 20 pcs

- hypochlorite Ca - 300 kg

- disposable gloves - 25,000 pairs

-medical masks - 6500 pcs

The total amount of assistance was 84 150 somoni.

At the same time, employees of Republican Public Organization «Аfif» purchased 90 kg. of hypochlorite Ca on their personal funds in amount of 4050 somoni and transferred them to CoES under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan for the fight against a new coronavirus infection.

The ceremony of the transfer of protective equipment was conducted at the CoES under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and Head Department of Penal System under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tajikistan.
