The working meetings on discussion of results of a desk study of drug legislation in the Republic of Tajikistan will be conducted from January till March, 2020 in Dushanbe, Bokhtar, Kulob, Khujand and Khorog.

The events are organized by Republican public organization “Afif” in cooperation with the Ministry of internal affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Drug Control Agency under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and Agency of medical supervision of the Ministry of health and social protection of population of the Republic of Tajikistan under the project “Supporting initiatives to improve National Drug Policy in the Republic of Tajikistan” funded by Open Society Institute Assistance Foundation – Tajikistan.

On these working meetings will participate the representatives of the Ministry of internal affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Drug Control Agency under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Agency of medical supervision of the Ministry of health and social protection of population of the Republic of Tajikistan, Republican AIDS Center of the Ministry of health and social protection of population of the Republic of Tajikistan, Republican Narcological Center named after professor Gulyamov, as well as representatives of public and international organizations of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The working meetings will be held as part of the Joint Plan of the Ministry of internal affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and Republican Public Organization “Afif” for 2019-2020.
