From October 1 to October 30, 2020, the Republican public organization "Afif" in cooperation with minitrainingsthe Main Directorate for the Execution of Criminal Sentences of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tajikistan (MDECS MJ RT) and the Municipal Infectious Diseases Hospital of Dushanbe held a series of mini trainings for 104 medical workersof the penitentiary systemand prisonvolunteers. The topic of the trainings was "COVID-19, transmission routes, preventive measures and workplace safety. Ensuring the rights of convicts to receive basic medical services in conditions of imprisonment”.

minitrainings1Training events were held within the framework of the project "Strengthening the capacity of the medical service of penitentiary institutions for the prevention, diagnosis, treatment of coronavirus infection COVID-19 and ensuring effective infection control at the GUIUN of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tajikistan", funded by the Brunch office of the International Organization of the Open Society Institute - Assistance Foundation in the Republic of Tajikistan.
